Bodybuilder

As of: September 11, 2026

Body manufacturers produce box, refrigerated, platform, workshop, and special bodies on chassis and are generally responsible for the final stage of the multi-stage type approval. They require documented mechanical, electrical, and data interfaces as well as predictable chassis availability.

Note

New generation vehicles of the HEERO brand are currently in development and are not available for order. The information on this page describes segment requirements, not promised vehicle characteristics.

What changes with electric chassis

The battery is located in the frame and limits the installation space. The power take-off is electric instead of mechanical. Connections to the vehicle network touch upon the requirements of UN R155 and UN R156. A mechanical body builder guideline is no longer sufficient.

What HEERO Motors provides

A chassis whose body interfaces are design specifications: Body CAN gateway, programmable inputs and outputs, documented frame interfaces, electric power take-off. Principle: disclose rather than protect.

Demarcation

HEERO Motors does not compete with body manufacturers and does not manufacture bodies.
