This model has been standard in other industries for decades and is the exception in European commercial vehicle manufacturing. For fleet customers, it means that requirements from European operations go directly into the vehicle definition instead of being filtered through derivative adjustments.
Why HEERO Motors relies on chassis
The European market for light commercial vehicles comprised around 1.45 million new registrations in 2025; in the first half of 2026, the battery-electric share was 13.2 percent compared to 9.5 percent in the same period of the previous year. Source: ACEA. Electric panel vans are widely available in this market. Electric chassis cabs are not: of the electric series offered in Europe, only a few feature a genuine chassis cab variant. Operators who require a box, refrigerated, platform, or workshop body therefore find a significantly narrower range of products than operators of panel vans. This is exactly where HEERO Motors comes in.
The light commercial vehicle has changed less in forty years than a mobile phone in four. A panel van from 1990 and one from today differ in details, not in principle. Exactly that is going to change, and faster than the established manufacturers are factoring in.

The target customers of HEERO Motors are commercial fleet operators with predictable deployment profiles, high vehicle utilization, and their own depot charging: pharmaceutical and medical logistics, textile and laundry logistics, mobile service and workshop fleets, refrigerated and fresh food logistics, municipalities and public fleets, as well as trade and construction.
Vehicles of the HEERO brand are used by Würth Fahrzeugeinrichtungen, TOI TOI and DIXI Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH, WILLMS Touristik GmbH und Co. KG, Blaguss Reisen GmbH, and the Anders Gruppe, among others.
