Municipalities and public fleets
As of September 11, 2026
Municipal and public fleets include vehicles from cities, municipalities, municipal enterprises, public utilities, and public institutions. Key characteristics include procurement through tendering procedures, politically set emission targets, fixed depot locations, and long retention periods.
Note
New-generation vehicles of the HEERO brand are currently in development and are not available for order. The information on this page describes the requirements of the segment, not promised vehicle characteristics.
Vehicle requirements
Tender-ready, clearly definable specifications. Verifiable zero emissions. Documented operating costs for the profitability analysis. Depot charging. Service access in the region.
What makes procurement difficult
Tender procedures require technical specifications that describe a vehicle uniquely without naming a specific manufacturer. For electric commercial vehicles, reliable comparative metrics are often lacking because range and payload specifications are based on different reference points.
