The HEERO Platform - GaLaBau Pütz in a Practical Interview
"The HEERO finally offers us the solution we need - a double cab with a flatbed for our versatile use in gardening and landscaping." (René Pütz from Pütz GaLaBau GmbH)
The topic briefly and concisely
HEERO superpower: Double cab and 3.5 t towing capacity
Carefree reach in action
That's why loading on company premises is sufficient.
The magazine of BAMAKA AG interviewed the gardener Rene Pütz, known from TV shows. He is one of the first in his industry to have embraced eMobility and drive Heero. We have summarized the three most important questions and answers from the interview here.
Why did you decide to include an E-Works HEERO in the fleet?
René Pütz decided on the HEERO, as conventional manufacturers of electric commercial vehicles did not offer reliable and suitable solutions. In particular, the lack of a 3.5 t trailer hitch and the lack of availability of double cabs with flatbeds were decisive factors for the use of the HEERO in gardening and landscaping.
Which characteristics of the HEERO are particularly important to you?
He emphasizes the optimal balance of battery size, on-board charger (22 kW) and fast charger for emergencies in the HEERO. The ability to quickly make the vehicle operational again and the range of up to 400 km are crucial for him.
What hurdles did you have to overcome regarding your charging infrastructure?
To this, Pütz explains that the charging infrastructure for the HEERO does not cause any difficulties in everyday work, as the vehicle can easily reach the construction site and return. The main charging occurs at the facility, with a future charging management at the facility being important to supply the vehicles with energy, depending on their individual range of use.
